Late Shield Limited (trading as LateShield) is registered in England and Wales (Company number: 17257923). We provide administrative, commercial, payment-support, credit-control, quantity surveying support, project management support, business plan preparation, accountant-supported cashflow support, building control support, contractor and workmanship support, and structural drawing, survey, inspection and design support services.
By using our services or submitting an enquiry through our website, you agree to these Terms of Service.
LateShield provides administrative, commercial, payment-support, credit-control, record-organisation, quantity surveying support, project management support, business plan preparation, accountant-supported cashflow support, building control support, contractor and workmanship support, and structural drawing, survey, inspection and design support services.
LateShield is not a law firm. We do not provide legal advice. We do not act as a formal debt collection agency. We do not provide regulated financial advice, audit services, formal tax advice, structural engineering design, structural inspections, certification, adjudication services, court representation, formal building control approval, planning approval, discharge of conditions, or professional engineering sign-off unless separately agreed in writing with suitably qualified and insured professionals.
If you require legal advice, formal debt recovery, court action, or any regulated professional service, you should seek advice from a solicitor or a suitable regulated provider.
As a client of LateShield, you are responsible for:
LateShield acts on the information you provide. We cannot be held responsible for errors arising from inaccurate or incomplete information supplied by you.
LateShield cannot guarantee that any overdue invoice will be paid as a result of our services. We provide professional follow-up support, but payment ultimately depends on the actions of your customers.
Where a success fee applies, it applies only to recovered overdue invoices where LateShield has actively assisted with the follow-up process. The specific terms of any success fee will be agreed with you before services begin.
During early access, no payment reminder or follow-up message is sent to your customers without your prior approval. You retain full control over all communications sent on your behalf.
LateShield will not be liable for any loss of income, loss of business, or indirect losses arising from the use of our services or from the non-payment of invoices by your customers.
Our total liability to you in connection with our services shall not exceed the fees paid by you to LateShield in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Either party may terminate the service arrangement at any time by providing written notice. Any fees due for services already provided will remain payable on termination.
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
